A gif of the thunderstrike used in the game, to exterminate opponents (humans with various hand-held weapons) by swiping from right to left.

It was based on a real thunder photo. I traced-roughly-recreated it in photoshop, separated in parts that animated in AfterEffects and exported the animation in 30 frames. Then I used these frames with a PackedSprite (anbsoft's SpriteManager2) that plays this animation when a thunderstrike is called. (click on the gif to see it in full res)
early pre-release versions of the game, had a different, more sinister character, which was replaced by the much cuter final boy. 


W.I.P. gameplay screenshots. The action is 2d scrolling. The environment moves from right to left, bringing along obstacles, enemies and coins. The player has to do only simple swipes: up to jump, down to tackle/slide, left to punch the ground causing a thunderstrike and right to sprint and break tall obstacles that he cannot jump above.

This is a blog about the (currently under development with Unity) iOS game "Endless Run Macabre", which is essentially an 2D infinite runner / side-scroller, where the game's character has to run as far as he can, by avoiding the various dangers and obstacles that come from the right part of the game screen.

Here I will post the game assets as I create them (environments, characters, props) as images and videos / gifs, hoping to fill a blog that people will find interesting and maybe inspiring for their own projects and imagination in general.
